Unscheduled Events of the Week
Why not invite others from the congregation to join you in prayer? Perhaps you could invite members of your Sunday school class to your home to pray for an hour. Or meet with someone in the congregation to focus on prayer and praise to God. Or rise early with your spouse just to devote time to a season of prevailing prayer. Or set aside a normal meal time to devote yourself to prayer. In all these things, we want to learn what it means to take hold of God (Isaiah 64:6-7) and prevail in prayer.
